4. Documents

Documents are used in MAPS to assign parameter sets to Containers and Materials. The first part of the video shows an example how a document can be created for a plate. The document of type "PICME Plate QC" is created and the according parameters are set for the current plate. In the administration interface it is possible to create new documents or to (like in the video) add new parameters to existing documents. In the second part of the video the parameter "Gel" is added to the document "PICME Well QC". Then a well is selected and a new document of this type is assigned to the well. Then a gel image is uploaded for the selected well.
